Flashback a few months ago I just wrapped up presenting to a council of Lawyers on Social Media Policy and Advocacy when I received an email from SAACI ( Southern African Association for the Conference Industry)
I was pleased to received an invite to speak at their Annual Congress and Exhibition held in St Lucia, Kwa Zulu Natal, South Africa
The theme – ‘to the beat of a different drum’ – is meant to inspire us all to think creatively around business events.
I was immediately attracted to this cause as Social Media and digital play a vital role in the expansive growth of conversations within conferences.
The ability to share content in a heartbeat is more real today than it was 10 years ago.
As South Africa celebrates 20 years of Freedom there is no better time to unite our country to welcome the world to share in on our beautiful landscapes and global hospitable services.
The Conferences begins on the 17 August and runs till the 19th in St Lucia.
