For me social media is a robust platform where we literally gather hard news to soft news, therefore one has to know his/her target audience. We have to tell stories that the audience what to read about and not what we want the audience to read about. By doing so, we create a momentum on our stories and also making the audience to want to hear more from us.

The notion of storytelling hasn’t changed but the mediums through which we tell the stories have. With the advent of social and ever-evolving audience attention, you now have to tell a story in new and interesting ways, be it 6 seconds or 60.

Our stories on social media has to be short and to the point, because the audience is actually interested on important content. When telling a story one should have an objective in terms of what do they want to achieve when the story is live on social media, for example: educating the audience.

According to Garry Vaynerchuck ‘’The media landscape has completely changed.  We live in a world where people only watch TV when they want to and can consume entire seasons of their favorite shows in one night.’’ which I really agree with, the TV actually end up watching us.

We always have to make sure that we are authentic as possible.
